Black Hole - Cape Cod Special Jigging Rod
Lightness meets raw strength – high-end Nano-carbon construction.
The Cape Cod Special series is manufactured in advanced High-End Nano Carbon and WXW Wide X-Wrapping , which gives extremely low weight, yet enormous lifting power. The parabolic blank profile reduces strain during long fights, and several models in the series have documented catches of large tuna, halibut and other species.
Model explanation
The model names are based on the recommended application range in grams for speed jigging with metal sinkers . This is originally intended for tropical fishing, so for Norwegian fishing the actual sinker weight may differ slightly - therefore see the table for the recommended application range.
-
B = Multiplier (conventional reel)
-
S = Reel (spinning)
-
Spiral = Multiplier bar with spiral mounted rings
Here the rings are twisted 180° from the reel seat to the tip: first ring points up, last points down. This gives better balance and reduces twisting under pressure.
